Pebbles in the mosaic of tolerance – creative work with Roma students

I will present the examples of good practice in working with Roma pupils at the primary school Šmihel:
- cooperation with parents and voluntary organizations in their home environment (visiting Roma settlements),
- guidance service,
- the forms and methods of working with Roma pupils,
- creative workshops (literary, artistic, culinary …) for the successful integration of Roma pupils and their parents in the school environment,
- celebration of the Roma holiday with various activities (events, attendance of Roma representatives, literary artists, musicians …),
- adapted Reading Badge for Roma pupils (promoting the joy of reading and the perception of the book as an indispensable learning tool),
- host school of the national UNESCO project on the theme Getting closer to Roma culture …
