Good ideas and bad practices in an Italian Sinti political participation experience

The presentation analyses the policies addressed to a authorized Sinti settlement by a right-wing and later on a left-wing local administrations in a small town in the North of Italy.
The research is carried out during 2010 – 2015 with a deep ethnographic fieldwork in the Sinti settlement and depth interviews realized with key witness such as social workers (of “”Figli del vento project””), educators, policeman, officials, teachers, Sinti individuals etc.
